  • Secure24 attain IAA Membership

We are delighted to announce that this August Secure24 was successful in its application to become a member of the independent ambulance association (IAA). The IAA is formally recognised by Government, the NHS, the Departments of Health & Transport, and media outlets as being the voice of the independent ambulance sector.

Secure24 is a specialist secure patient transport ambulance service, delivering transport solutions for people with mental health illnesses, challenging behaviour, and other areas of care requiring a secure approach.

Head of Service David Boswell says “joining the IAA membership is a great development for us and supports our ongoing awareness campaign to raise our profile across the private and public sectors. The IAA we hope will provide the opportunities we seek to engage with other private providers and, to offer the platform when required to talk about important topics, share experiences and celebrate progresses and innovations.”

David continues “the process to attaining our membership was a positive experience, I had the opportunity to speak at length with the IAA Chief Executive to find out more about the IAA, but also to share our story at Secure24 and our successes, from beginning to the now and the future.”

Secure24’s IAA membership demonstrates further service quality in addition its latest CQC inspection rating of Good.

Members of the IAA have to satisfy a number of quality and commercial checks to ensure they meet the required standards of the IAA, providing reassurances to those they serve.

  • Perfect Gentlemen - S24+ Congratulations Chris and Sam

On Saturday 29th July 2017, 5:20pm at Peace Pottage service station, I was having a complete nightmare with my car.

It was poring down with rain that afternoon, and I took my son, whom is 18 months old, to Brighton for the day.On the way home towards Heathrow, I was on the M23, when suddenly something hit my widescreen and the passenger side wiper stopped working. Well I though ok at least driver side is working were ok. And then it stops.

I pulled straight into the service station which I think I was only half a mile away, but it felt longer, and I started to worry, well panic a bit cause I had my child in the car.

Once I pulled in and stopped the car well then I start shaking and what a relief we made it.

So I look around see whom I could ask for help as totally not with it.

I saw two of your vehicle’s in the car park and thought, ok now they will know the area.

When I approached your staff two males, two females, they were instantly very polite and thoughtful without even knowing what I was about to ask.

To which both of the gentlemen, Chris and Sam. Offered help without hesitation, and could see that I was a bit shaky and worried about how on earth am I getting home.

Well thanks to there help and being very kind and respectful, they managed to fix it so we could get back home. I did offer them some money for there time, to which they refused and said it was a pleasure to help.

I am so grateful to these gentlemen for there help, something I will always remember.

    Many thanks
