On Saturday 29th July 2017, 5:20pm at Peace Pottage service station, I was having a complete nightmare with my car.
It was poring down with rain that afternoon, and I took my son, whom is 18 months old, to Brighton for the day.On the way home towards Heathrow, I was on the M23, when suddenly something hit my widescreen and the passenger side wiper stopped working. Well I though ok at least driver side is working were ok. And then it stops.
I pulled straight into the service station which I think I was only half a mile away, but it felt longer, and I started to worry, well panic a bit cause I had my child in the car.
Once I pulled in and stopped the car well then I start shaking and what a relief we made it.
So I look around see whom I could ask for help as totally not with it.
I saw two of your vehicle’s in the car park and thought, ok now they will know the area.
When I approached your staff two males, two females, they were instantly very polite and thoughtful without even knowing what I was about to ask.
To which both of the gentlemen, Chris and Sam. Offered help without hesitation, and could see that I was a bit shaky and worried about how on earth am I getting home.
Well thanks to there help and being very kind and respectful, they managed to fix it so we could get back home. I did offer them some money for there time, to which they refused and said it was a pleasure to help.
I am so grateful to these gentlemen for there help, something I will always remember.
Many thanks
Vicki
